Cogir, a leader in retirement residences, seeks a Payroll Specialist with at least four years of payroll experience. This role requires strong attention to detail and advanced knowledge of payroll legislation while maintaining compliance with tax regulations. You will provide employee support and engage in data management to uphold high-quality service across our Regency portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and validate payroll for all employee types • Review timesheets for accuracy and compliance • Ensure proper deduction calculations and submission of Records of Employment • Address inquiries from employees regarding payroll matters • Generate payroll reports for HR and management
Requirements: • DEC in Accounting or Human Resources • 4+ years of payroll processing experience • Payroll Compliance Practitioner certification preferred • Proficiency with payroll software and HRIS systems • Bilingual in English and French is an asset
