We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Taxi Driver (night shift - 4pm start) to provide safe and productive transportation services. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to manage time effectively. This role involves navigating city streets, ensuring passenger safety, and delivering a positive travel experience for all clients.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a taxi vehicle to transport passengers to various destinations within the city or designated areas
- Greet passengers courteously and assist with boarding and luggage as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the vehicle at all times
- Manage fare collection accurately through cash handling or electronic payment systems
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during each shift
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely arrivals and departures
- Keep accurate records of trips, fares, and mileage as required
- Provide excellent customer service by being professional, friendly, and attentive to passenger needs
Qualifications
- Age 25 or older, with valid full G driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Strong customer service skills, and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly and accurately
- Knowledge of Kingston, Ontario streets, landmarks, and traffic patterns
- Must be reliable, punctual.
