What you will be doing: Lead assigned projects to implementation Lead testing and validation of complex underwriting rules, product updates, and pricing changes Drive process improvement initiatives and system efficiencies Provide guidance, mentorship, and oversight to junior analysts Serve as subject matter expert for underwriting systems and business logic Liaise between business and technical teams to resolve issues across multiple platforms: Guidewire centers, Broker Management systems (including EDI, edoc), third party quoting tools (Applied, Acturis, etc.) Develop and deliver content for training materials related to underwriting systems, using a variety of training methods Collaborate with leadership on strategy, reporting, and implementation planning Participate in preparation and completion of regulatory reporting as required Perform other duties as required What you must have: Relevant post-secondary education CIP or FCIP completed Minimum 7 years related experience in an underwriting role Commercial property experience is preferred Personal Lines and Farm exposure is also an asset Guidewire experience is an asset Robust understanding of underwriting principles, products, and pricing Experience with business systems, process documentation, and testing Development and delivery of training materials Salary/Rate Range: $75,000 - $90,000 Other Information:
