Adecco is currently hiring a CNC Rework Machinist for a full-time opportunity with a growing manufacturing organization.

This role is ideal for an experienced machinist who excels in CNC setup, programming, and operation, and takes pride in producing high-precision components to exact specifications.

Pay Rate: $39.00 - $42.00/hour Location: Nisku, AB (Edmonton area) Shift: 7 AM - 4:30 PM Job type: Permanent | Full time Responsibilities: CNC Setup, Programming & Operation Set up, program, and independently operate CNC lathe machines.

Manufacture and rework components using Weiler lathes and Siemens controls.

Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and machining strategies to achieve optimal results.

Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality.

Precision Machining Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

Machine components to precise tolerances, including tolerances as tight as 0.002''.

Repair, machine, and inspect threaded connections including REG, NC, and FH connections.

Ensure finished components meet customer and engineering requirements.

Inspection & Quality Control Perform dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments.

Verify taper threads using specialized thread gauges and inspection tools.

Complete quality documentation in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.

Identify non-conformances and take corrective action as required.

Safety & Continuous Improvement Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and operational policies.





Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality.

Qualifications and Skills: Journeyman Machinist certification or equivalent machining experience preferred.

Strong experience with CNC lathe setup, programming, and operation.

Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.

Experience machining and inspecting threaded connections, including REG, NC, and FH threads.

Proficiency using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, and thread gauges.

Strong understanding of machining tolerances and quality requirements.

Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems and documentation standards.

Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Experience with Weiler lathes and Siemens controls is considered a strong asset.
