Maintenance Labourer Meridian Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Labourer to join our team in Sherwood, SK.

This position is responsible for assisting with general maintenance, building upkeep, property maintenance, housekeeping, and supporting the maintenance department with day-to-day activities.

Previous maintenance experience is an asset but not required.

Perform general building and property upkeep.

Complete routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and grounds.

Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks.

Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment.

Assist with moving materials, equipment, and supplies.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and storage locations.

Empty garbage bins and perform general housekeeping duties throughout the facility.

Clean and maintain washrooms, lunchrooms, and other common areas as required.

Assist with yard maintenance,



snow removal, and site cleanup.

Support production departments with maintenance-related requests.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Valid driver''s licence.

Previous experience in general labour, maintenance, construction, farming, warehousing, or manufacturing is considered an asset.

Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Ability to safely use hand and power tools.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Robust attendance and reliability.

Working Conditions Work indoors and outdoors in all seasons.

Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Exposure to manufacturing and outdoor work environments.

Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

Noise levels may be moderate to high.

Must be physically capable of performing manual labour throughout the shift.
