YOUR ROLE The Carpenter/Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing carpentry work related primarily to the modification of shipping containers and maintenance of company facilities.

Schedule Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m.3:30 p.m.

May vary based on operational needs.

Primary Responsibilities Modify shipping containers.

Wood framing.

Install plywood, drywall, insulation and finishing materials.

General interior renovations and building repairs.

Safely operate power tools.

Maintain clean work area.

Follow all health and safety requirements, wear PPE, report hazards.

Perform other related duties.

Qualifications Education Verbal and written fluency in French; Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS/DEP) in Carpentry, Building Maintenance, Construction or related trade preferred.





Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered Experience Minimum 23 years of carpentry, construction, interior renovation or building maintenance.

General knowledge of interior renovations is required.

Good knowledge of electric/power tools is required.

Experience with wood framing, plywood and drywall installation is required.

Shipping container modification experience is an asset.

Licences & Certifications Valid Class 5 driver''s licence preferred. WHMIS certification required.

Forklift, aerial lift and First Aid/CPR certifications are assets Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, climb ladders, work indoors/outdoors.
