Since 2008, weve built our reputation on attention to detail and strong client relationships. POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a Finishing Assistant to support the preparation and finishing of custom cabinetry and millwork.

Friday (7:30am5:00pm) Shop environment (noise, dust, and equipment, PPE required) Benefits available after probation Wage: $20$25/hour, based on experience JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Surface Preparation: Sand, prepare,clean, and inspect raw wood components to prepare them for finishing.
Staining & Sealing: Apply stains, sealers, and other treatments to enhance wood grain and match design specifications.
Wood Repair: Identify and repair imperfections such as knots, cracks, and dents using fillers, putty,
and other techniques.
Quality Control: Ensure all pieces meet company standards before moving them to the finishing stage.
Tool & Equipment Use: Safely operate sanders, spray equipment, and other finishing tools.
Work Area Maintenance: Keep the finishing area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
Scheduling: Adhere to deadlines for production schedules, maintain organization and cleanliness.
Safety: Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
Assist with other shop duties as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent Experience in woodworking/cabinetry is an asset (training provided) Solid attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to work independently and in a team Physically able to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks Commitment to safety and quality Requirements -See posting
