Overview: This position requires frequent hand picking of orders, building and stretch wrapping pallets, tagging material and transporting completed orders to specific areas of the warehouse.
This person will also ensure appropriate documents are filled out and taken to the Office.
Responsibilities: Utilizes continuous improvement mindset to identifying opportunities to improve processes Operates various types of equipment in a safe manner (Order Pickers, Reach Trucks) Works in a team environment Fulfills customer orders promptly and accurately.
Reports inventory discrepancies to supervisor/manager.
Able to operate and understand RF units and working tablets.
Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.
Ability to lift 50lbs+ Perform other related duties as needed.
Requirements: Excellent communication skills for coordinating with various departments (Shippers, Production Supervisors, and Sales Staff) to address customer orders.
Basic mathematical skills.
Proficient in verbal and written communication.
Competent in basic computer applications.
Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift heavy materials.
Effective prioritization skills to handle urgent orders promptly and efficiently.
Strong judgment in following established procedures and managing emergency calls/orders.
Keen attention to detail for monitoring the progress of multiple orders.
Solid decision-making skills to apply knowledge and make informed decisions.
Valid MHE (forklift) certification.
Preferred familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment.
