Granum School requires a Part-Time Educational Assistant (14 hours per week) (Tuesdays & Thursdays) to provide 1-1 child support primarily in the Kindergarten class. The successful candidate will provide assistance for children in an inclusive program to help meet the goals of the children's learning plan.

- Experience working with students in one-on-one, small group and inclusive classroom settings
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with students and staff
- Experience and training in working with children with diverse learning needs
- Experience working with children with diverse physical needs and challenging behaviours
- Experience in working collaboratively with a Learning Support Team
- NVCI and/or SIVA training would be an asset.
- Educational Assistant certification and/or Health Care Aide certification or equivalent
- Knowledge of American Sign Language and/or Assistive Technology is an asset
