We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely towing vehicles, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring efficient operations. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, safe driving practices, and the ability to handle various roadside situations professionally.

The Tow Truck

Driver plays a vital role in maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting our company's reputation for dependable service.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate tow trucks to transport vehicles from accident sites, parking lots, or roadside locations
- Assist customers with vehicle recovery, unlocking, and jump-starting as needed
- Conduct routine inspections of tow trucks to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Maintain accurate documentation of all towing activities and vehicle conditions
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate services
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with vehicles or equipment when necessary
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and traffic laws during operations




- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tow truck and work area

Requirements

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for towing operations
- Criminal record check
- Proven experience in commercial driving and automotive repair is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle systems and towing equipment
- Customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients
- Ability to operate forklifts or other heavy machinery is a plus
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, or emergency call-outs if necessary
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks associated with vehicle recovery
