Reporting to the Accounting Manager / Controller, this role plays a criticalpart in supporting dealership operations by ensuring the accurate, timely, andcompliant processing of accounts payable transactions.TheDeal Clerkcontributes to the overall financialintegrity of the dealership by maintaining accurate records, meeting reportingdeadlines, and supporting strong vendor and manufacturer relationships. Thisposition works closely with internal departments and external partners in a quick-paced, high-volume environment.The expectedannual salary for this position is$55,000.00-$60,000.00Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesSort, code,
and enter vendor and manufacturerinvoices into the CDK systemVerify invoices and match to purchase orders andsupporting documentationProcess bi-weekly on-demand cheques and monthlycheque runsProcess monthly business office remittancesReconcile vendor statements, manufacturerstatements, and credit card statementsReconcile electronic funds transfer (EFT)payments and accountsReconcile sublet schedules and accounts payableschedulesMaintain accurate and organized filing systems(physical and electronic)Respond to internal and external inquiriesrelated to accounts payableSupport month-end closing activities as requiredPerform other accounting or administrativeduties as assigned by managementQualifications RequiredEducation & ExperiencePost-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a relatedfield, or equivalent practical experiencePreviousexperience in a Deal Clerk or accounting-related roleAutomotiveindustry experience is considered an assetExperiencewith CDK software is considered an assetWorkingknowledge of the accounting cycle and accounts payable processesStrongattention to detail with a high level of accuracyAbilityto manage high volumes of transactions while meeting tight deadlinesStrongorganizational and time-management skillsExcellentverbal and written communication skillsProficiencyin Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applicationsSelf-motivated,proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in ateam environmentPositiveattitude with a commitment to continuous improvementLegallyentitled to work in CanadaAbout DilawriIn addition to working with and learning from a team ofleading professionals in the automotive industry, our benefits include:Discountedemployee vehicle purchase programJob-specificcoaching & training programsEmployeewellness & assistance programsEmployeesocial eventsBuild your career with a team thatis driven byexcellence,integrityand innovation.#J-18808-Ljbffr
