About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for a Financial Risk Management role with a focus on liquidity, market, credit, and interest rate risk in the banking book. The successful candidate will be responsible for the production, analysis, and governance of various risk reports, including those related to liquidity early warning indicators, stress testing, and market risk analytics. This role requires a high level of technical capability, including advanced data analysis, Excel automation, and AI literacy,
to enhance reporting efficiency and data quality. The AVP will also be involved in supporting ECL and portfolio credit risk analysis, monitoring risk appetite, and maintaining risk-related documentation.
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in banking, risk management, treasury, finance, audit, data analytics, or a related financial services field, with a preference for those with experience in a second-line risk management function. The role demands a strong understanding of financial risk concepts, governance expectations, and control requirements. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in a relevant discipline, with additional training or certifications in areas such as FRM, CFA, CPA, or data analytics. Technical skills should include advanced Microsoft Excel, knowledge of risk metrics, and the ability to work with large data sets. The role also requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
