This temporary position requires a dedicated custodian for PM shifts, offering 37.5 hours weekly until August 31, 2027. Ideal candidates will possess a Grade 12 education, custodial experience, and the ability to lift and carry various weights. You’ll work cooperatively with staff and students while maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and maintain all surfaces including floors and furniture
• Operate power tools and equipment effectively
• Dispose of waste and maintain washrooms
• Report maintenance issues to the Senior Custodian
• Maintain a cooperative relationship with staff and students
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education preferred
• Current custodial experience required
• Knowledge of fire and intruder alarm systems
• Ability to lift 50lbs and push/pull weights up to 80lbs
• Excellent communication skills
