We are a family in Linden Woods looking for a kind, patient and dependable childminder for our three children, ages 1, 3 and 5.

We are looking for someone who can become a familiar and trusted caregiver for our family on a regular but flexible basis. This might include a few hours during the day from time to time, appointments, occasional evenings or weekends, and potentially additional hours when needed.

We would love to find someone we can get to know and call on regularly rather than using a different babysitter each time.

Our ideal person genuinely enjoys spending time with young children and is warm, playful and calm. Our kids can have big feelings, so patience and the ability to stay regulated and supportive when a child is having a difficult moment are particularly important to us.

Experience with young children is important. Experience or education in psychology, child development, education, ECE, neurodiversity or a related area would be a wonderful bonus,



but isn’t required.

The role would primarily involve playing with and supervising the children, reading, doing easy activities, helping with snacks, diapers/toileting, and naps or bedtime when applicable. We are not looking for significant housekeeping.

We value someone who is reliable, communicative, attentive to safety and hygiene, and respectful of children’s individual personalities and needs.
