Become a Valve Technician at Stream-Flo Industries, taking ownership of valve repairs in a dynamic environment. Your role will focus on troubleshooting and maintaining high-quality valve equipment and operations.
Reporting to the Assistant Manager, you'll manage the repair process for various valve equipment. This position requires strong mechanical skills, the ability to follow work orders, and excellent communication abilities. You will also maintain stock, handle after-hours work as needed, and ensure that all work meets company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities: • Tear down and reassemble valve equipment for repairs • Test, grease, and inspect valves thoroughly • Write travelers and work orders for estimates • Troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain stock • Notify Supervisor of any irregularities in orders
Requirements: • High School Diploma with valve experience preferred • Basic understanding of tools and mechanical operations • Ability to operate a forklift securely • Robust communication and customer service skills • Attention to detail and organizational skills
