Experienced sub arc operator required for SE Edmonton Pressure Vessel Shop. 2nd year apprentice also considered. You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Operate Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) equipment
- Set up rolls, and perform full-circumference welds on rotating vessels
- Set and adjust welding parameters to maintain proper penetration
- Execute clean starts, stops, and tie-ins
- Monitor weld performance throughout rotation and adjust as needed
- Prepare weld surfaces, including cleaning and grinding
- Maintain welding equipment in safe, working conditions
- Keep work area clean, organized, and aligned with safety standards
Pay: $33.00-$36.00 per hour Expected hours: 47.5 per week
