Foster a vibrant community for seniors as a Life Enrichment Coordinator with Jarlette Health Services in Waterdown, Ontario. Lead creative activities promoting well-being and autonomy among residents.

In this full-time, permanent role, you will report to the Executive Director and play a crucial part in enriching residents' lives. You will design culturally sensitive programs addressing the physical, emotional, and social needs of seniors. Collaborating with other departments and families, you will ensure each resident has a voice in activity selection while facilitating community connections.

Key Responsibilities:



• Plan and implement diverse resident activities • Evaluate programs for effectiveness and resident engagement • Collaborate with families and departments • Monitor residents’ participation and preferences • Manage departmental budgeting processes

Requirements: • Post-secondary degree in recreation, gerontology, or related field • Relevant experience in healthcare or long-term care settings • Knowledge of community resources and program development • Experience with seniors, promoting choice and autonomy • Solid computer literacy skills
