**Job Title: Warehouse Worker**
**Job Description**
This role focuses on light packing work on a loading dock, building pallets on a loading line.

You will handle incoming product, stack and wrap pallets according to predetermined size and height specifications, and maintain high standards of quality control and attention to detail throughout your shift.

The position is physically active and requires consistent movement and lifting throughout an 8-hour shift.
**Responsibilities**
Work on the light packing loading dock, building pallets on a loading line according to predetermined size and height requirements.

Unload product from incoming trucks, taking individual boxes (such as tissue and paper products) and stacking them onto pallets throughout the day.

Wrap completed pallets with shrink wrap or paper to secure product before they are moved by forklift operators.

Handle inventory carefully, ensuring that items are placed on the correct pallets based on their specific SKU numbers.

Perform detailed quality control checks to avoid mixing products with different SKUs, even when items look visually similar.

Maintain a steady work pace in a manual, physically active role, consistently lifting items up to 50 lbs over the course of an 8-hour shift.

Follow warehouse operations and general labor procedures, including basic shipping and receiving and order picking tasks as required.

Demonstrate excellent attendance and reliability, meeting schedule expectations consistently.

Collaborate with team members and follow instructions from supervisors to ensure efficient loading, unloading, and inventory handling.

Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area on the loading dock.
**Essential Skills**
At least 6 months of experience in a warehouse or general labor role within the last 1.5 years.

Proven ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs consistently over an 8-hour shift, validated by a reference from the most recent job.

Excellent attendance record, validated by managerial references from the two most recent jobs.

Strong attention to detail, particularly in distinguishing and organizing products with different SKUs that may look visually similar.

Experience with basic warehouse operations such as loading, unloading trucks, shipping and receiving, and general labor tasks.





Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution center environment and maintain productivity throughout the shift.

Good attitude and reliability, with a robust work ethic and willingness to perform manual tasks all day.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Johnstown, ON.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.43 - $19.43/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
