**Job Description:**
The Manager, Journey Insights, partners with Product Group Owners across TD Easy Trade, TD Direct Investing, and TD Active Trader to translate data and analytics into clear insights, compelling narratives, and actionable recommendations that support business decisions and improve the client experience.
**Job Responsibilities**
The role leads Journey measurement and performance discussions, including Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), analyzes business and client key performance indicators (KPIs), and provides recommendations to help inform product priorities, growth initiatives, and strategic decisions.
The Manager also participates as a subject matter expert in relevant agile ceremonies and partners with Product Owners to evaluate digital feature adoption and business impact.
The role coordinates analytical needs across the Direct Investing Journey and helps shape the long-term data and measurement roadmap, working closely with enterprise data, analytics, technology, and business partners.
This includes identifying measurement gaps, improving access to reliable data, and supporting the adoption of existing and emerging data capabilities.
Other responsibilities include: Lead the development, validation, and communication of OKRs/KPIs and in partnership with Product Group Owners and key stakeholders.
Provide regular, transparent performance updates, including key drivers, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions, to senior leaders and product teams.
Develop and enhance standardized dashboards, measurement frameworks, and reporting processes to strengthen data integrity and provide a consistent source of truth for performance discussions.
Analyze results to explain what changed, identify underlying drivers and business implications, and recommend appropriate next steps.
Lead or support business cases and impact assessments to estimate the potential contribution of product features and initiatives to Journey objectives, informing roadmap prioritization and investment decisions.
Establish measurement approaches for product launches and enhancements, evaluate realized impact, identify client or business pain points, and recommend opportunities for iteration and optimization.
Proactively analyze client behaviour, platform usage, funnel performance, feature adoption, and competitive developments to identify opportunities, pain points, risks, and underlying performance drivers.
Collaborate with data science and
business insights teams, product and technology delivery partners, marketing research and enterprise data partners to deliver complex analyses requiring specialized data, models, tools, or methodologies.
Synthesize internal analyses, external research, competitive intelligence, and industry trends into clear implications and actionable recommendations for the Direct Investing Journey.
Translate complex findings into concise, decision-ready narratives and recommendations for senior leadership and product stakeholders.
Identify and prioritize data, reporting,
and measurement needs across the Direct Investing Journey.
Partner with enterprise data and technology teams to improve data availability, quality, consistency, and usability.
Maintain a forward-looking roadmap for key data and analytical capabilities, aligned with Journey priorities and business needs.
Support the adoption of new data technologies, analytical methods, and automation opportunities by researching leading practices, assessing potential applications, and partnering with enterprise experts.
**Job Requirements**
Related undergraduate degree in finance, economics, mathematics, analytics, business, technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
7+ years of relevant experience in areas such as financial services, wealth, digital products, product analytics, business insights, strategy, performance management, or customer journey management.
Experience working with digital platforms, product teams, technology partners, or agile delivery environments.
Exceptional critical thinking, analytical problem solving, and business acumen.
Expert Excel and data visualization skills, with experience using business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex analyses into clear business implications, recommendations, and executive-level communications.
Proven ability to influence decisions and work effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
Experience with Adobe Analytics or similar digital analytics platforms is a strong asset.
Knowledge of self-directed investing, wealth management, or digital financial services is an asset.
