Hexagon's Autonomy & Positioning division is looking for a Sensor Fusion Software Engineer to join our high-tech engineering and manufacturing company that is committed to customer service excellence and continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Manager, Sensor Fusion & Waypoint, you will focus on developing market leading GNSS/INS (SPAN) solutions.

Atel organization to implement navigation enhancements, perform data analysis, participate in firmware qualifications, as well as work with our dedicated Applications Engineer team to assist with complex customer integrations and use cases.
Your knowledge in programming, software development and your methodical problem-solving approach will support ongoing business initiatives in our exciting High-Tech environment. The Location: Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world.

As part of the Sensor Fusion team, the Sensor Fusion Engineer is responsible for: Development and enhancement of GNSS + Inertial navigation technology
Embedded FW development (algorithm, filter, mechanization) designing current features and/or improving performance
Integrating and evaluating new IMUsInvestigating new sensor technologies and positioning techniques
Real world testing and analysis of Inertial Solutions & sensor data
Collection of real world GNSS/INS data
Detailed and methodical analysis of data
Development of new tools and utilities
Liaising with other departments to analyze and debug customer applications and data
Investigation of problems and resolve system defects
Defining functional and performance requirements; design, code,
and test to meet schedule and quality targets for production releases
Must-Have:B.
Sc. in Electrical, Geomatics, or Mechical Engineering with 4+ years of industry experience.
Comfortable writing code in C/C++ and Python
Knowledge of software development practices and methodology
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
English fluency with excellent verbal and written skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
Understanding of coordinate systems and reference frames
Valid class 5 driver's license
