Title: Cisco/Aruba Network Architect
Location: Toronto, ON/Remote
Duration: 6 Months

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Architect to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of enterprise network architecture, with a focus on Cisco and Aruba technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with client personnel to transfer knowledge and achieve network upgrade objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 10 or more years of enterprise network engineering experience, including at least four years in an architecture or lead engineering capacity.
- Strong expertise in Wireless technologies, Cisco, SD Wan.
- Deep expertise in enterprise routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs, spanning tree) across major vendor platforms.
- Strong firewall design experience, including policy design and rule base rationalization.
- Prior work experience at client or in the client's industry.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications





- Aruba EdgeConnect experience.
- Experience with hybrid cloud connectivity (Azure / AWS).
- CCNP / CCIE / JNCIP certifications.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Design target-state network architecture, including routing, switching, segmentation, and firewall policies.
- Produce network design documentation, including high-level and low-level designs, IP addressing schemes, and traffic flow diagrams.
- Provide technical guidance and escalation support to technical SMEs and engineers executing network build, configuration, and cutover activities.
