As part of our Legal & Risk Management team, you will use your legal proficiency on technology and digital matters, including software procurement and cybersecurity. Leverage your experience and business acumen to provide viable, practical legal advice while fostering relationships across various departments and with external counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide legal support for IT and Digital practice areas
- Draft and negotiate a variety of technology agreements
- Mitigate risks by advising on commercial strategies
- Research legal compliance and regulatory issues
- Develop templates and scalable contracting processes

Requirements:

- At least four years of post-call experience
- Valuable standing with the Law Society of Alberta
- Experience in software and cloud-based agreements
- Knowledge in data protection and emerging technologies
- Ability to give practical, risk-based advice
