Reporting to the Director, Commercial, you'll work in a highly autonomous team. Your legal acumen will guide crucial negotiations and shape Tipalti's contracting strategies. This role supports an agile approach to business, where your judgment directly impacts operations and compliance.
Key Responsibilities: • Manage negotiations for sales-side agreements and vendor contracts • Advise cross-functional teams on commercial legal matters • Optimize contracting processes using AI technologies • Develop and maintain a contracting playbook • Handle matters from inception through to resolution
Requirements: • Law degree (J.D., LL.B.) with good standing in Ontario or equivalent • Minimum 8 years in commercial technology law • Proficiency in SaaS agreements, NDAs, and DPAs • Passion for legal technology and AI applications • Strong, team-oriented communication skills
