Elevate Recruitment & Staffing is hiring a Sales and Marketing Assistant for a Windsor based manufacturer and distributor of consumer products. This is a hands on role supporting a small sales team, with real ownership of accounts and campaigns rather than fetching coffee. If you want to learn how a business actually sells, this is a good place to do it.

Responsibilities

Supporting the sales team

- Prepare quotes, enter orders, and follow up on open accounts
- Maintain customer records, pricing, and order history in the company system
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email and route them to the right person
- Coordinate with production and shipping on order timelines and customer commitments
- Prepare sales materials, product information sheets, and presentations
- Build and schedule social media, email, and promotional content
- Track sales and campaign performance and pull together simple reports
- Support trade shows, product launches, and customer visits
- Handle general administrative work that keeps the sales function moving

Growing into outreach





- Follow up on inbound leads and qualify them for the sales team
- Reconnect with lapsed and inactive accounts
- Research and build prospect lists in target markets
- Take on your own outbound calls and accounts as you build product knowledge

What you need

- Post secondary education in business, marketing, commerce, or a related field
- Robust written and verbal communication in English
- Comfortable on the phone with customers
- Solid Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Organized, accurate, and able to manage several tasks at once
- Self starter who takes direction well and follows through without reminders
- Interest in sales, marketing, and consumer products
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle is an asset
