In this permanent, full-time role, you'll report to the Manager Operations at Dawson Civil. Ideal candidates should possess effective interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and extensive knowledge of estimating methods. Your role requires travel within British Columbia to ensure accurate assessments and collaboration with teams.

Key Responsibilities:



• Prepare detailed project cost estimates including labor and materials • Review drawings and contract documents for each tender • Visit job sites to gather necessary information • Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and need assessments • Analyze subcontractor quotes for competitiveness

Requirements: • Engineering degree or Civil Engineering diploma • Seven years of experience in the construction sector • Five years of cost estimating experience • Proficiency in estimating software, preferably HCSS • Robust analytical and negotiation skills
