Heavy Equipment Technician Apprentice — 2nd or 3rd Year

We are seeking a motivated 2nd Year Heavy Equipment Technician Apprentice to join our team. Preference will be given to second-year apprentices; however, qualified third-year apprentices are also encouraged to apply.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse fleet of vehicles and heavy equipment in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

- Currently registered as a second-year Heavy Equipment Technician Apprentice; third-year apprentices may also be considered
- Experience diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting and repairs
- Valid Class 3 driver’s licence with air brake endorsement
- Service truck experience is considered an asset
- A good set of personal tools is considered an asset
- Ability to maintain accurate, complete and legible service documentation

Schedule

- The regular schedule is primarily five days on and two days off but may change depending on operational requirements
- A typical workday is approximately 10 hours
- Overtime and weekend work may be required
