Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will help ensure the highest quality standards are met while maintaining a secure and productive work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your welding skills in a fast-paced setting, contributing to innovative projects and complex assemblies.
Duties
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding on various metal parts, ensuring strong, durable joints according to blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret detailed technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide fabrication and assembly processes
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and press brake machines to shape, cut, and form metal components accurately
- Conduct rigging operations for lifting and positioning heavy materials safely using cranes or forklifts
- Measure dimensions with calipers, tape measures, and other precision tools to ensure parts meet specifications
- Assemble fabricated components into finished products or subassemblies following detailed instructions
- Maintain a clean,
organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols related to welding, machining, and construction environments
Experience
- Proven experience in welding techniques including MIG and TIG welding within manufacturing or construction settings
- Mechanical knowledge of machinery such as press brake machines, plasma cutters, and machining tools
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate fabrication
- Hands-on experience with rigging, crane operation, forklift handling, and assembly processes
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise fabrication tasks
- Knowledge of ductwork installation or construction experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently
