Off the Leash Pet Grooming is Hiring – Experienced Dog Groomer

Off the Leash Pet Grooming is looking for a skilled and passionate groomer to join our growing team!

We are seeking a reliable, organized professional with excellent time management and a strong commitment to animal care. Our shop offers one on one grooming appointments to ensure each dog receives personalized attention in a calm, low stress environment.

What We Offer:

- Private grooming tables and stations for each groomer
- Commission based pay (50%) + 100% of tips
- All essential supplies provided (tubs, tables, dryers, shampoos, towels)

Position Details:

- Full time
- Available days: Monday to Friday

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of salon grooming experience
- Must provide your own grooming tools (clippers, blades, scissors, brushes, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of breed specific and pet trims
- Ability to perform all standard grooming services, including bathing, drying, detangling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, teeth brushing
- Ability to identify common skin, coat, and overall health concerns




- Confident handling dogs of all sizes (must be able to lift 50–60 lbs unassisted)
- Skilled communication skills with both clients and team members
- Comfortable working independently
- Willingness to maintain a clean and organized workspace daily
- Comfortable using (or learning) online booking systems and answering phones
- Ability to manage and grow personal clientele

Ideal Candidate:

Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of animal behavior and prioritizes the health, safety, and comfort of every pet. They are confident grooming both large and small breeds and thrive in a calm, structured environment. Pet First Aid certification is considered an asset.
