Senior Workday Canadian Payroll & Time Consultant

Are you a senior Workday professional with deep expertise in Canadian Payroll and PATT? Our client, a leading North American energy organization, is implementing Workday across its Canadian operations and is seeking an experienced consultant to help guide the team through testing, go-live, and post-deployment support. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a critical Canadian Workday workstream, solve complex configuration challenges, and make an immediate impact during a major HRIS transformation.

- Opportunity for travel to Houston, Texas, as required
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Configure and support Workday Canadian Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Leave, and related workforce processes
- Lead End-to-End, User Acceptance, and Parallel Testing activities through deployment
- Configure complex payroll requirements, including deductions, premiums, overtime, shift differentials, and provincial rules
- Investigate testing discrepancies, troubleshoot configuration issues, and drive resolutions through completion
- Design and deliver Advanced and Matrix Reports supporting payroll, time, and workforce requirements
- Partner with payroll, HR, IT,
and business stakeholders to prepare the organization for go-live
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- 10+ years of Workday experience with active Workday certifications clearly identified on your resume
- Deep hands-on experience configuring Canadian Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, and Leave
- Strong understanding of Canadian payroll legislation and provincial workforce requirements
- Experience supporting complex unionized environments and collective agreement provisions
- Proven success leading E2E, UAT, and Parallel Testing during a Workday implementation
- Your agility, communication skills, and technical judgment will help the team navigate changing priorities and tight deployment deadlines
