DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Senior Sales Director, the merchandiser is responsible for merchandising and increasing the visibility of St-Albert Cheese products at the assigned accounts. The Merchandiser will also ensure a high quality of customer service at each visit.

YOUR ROLE:

- Visit grocery stores daily, in the Eastern Ontario area, as assigned.
- Talk to deli managers and grocery store staff, to create a working relationship with these key partners.
- Take inventory of products that are available in each store and compare that to what they are listed for and talk to our partners regarding any listing gaps.
- Occasionally perform product tastings in-store to promote St-Albert Cheese to consumers.
- Coordinate the marketing activities related to regional sales objectives and communicate it accordingly to our clients.




- You will be using Outlook to report back your activities while on the road.
- Occasionally take client orders in-store as required.

WHAT YOU HAVE:

- A valid G driver's licence and a car that is in positive working order. (In addition to your base salary, you will be paid for KM)
- You would consider yourself organized and easy to get along with.
- You enjoy talking to people.
- You are able to work by yourself with little supervision.
- You can speak and write in English AND French.

Status: Full Time, Permanent

Work Schedule: days, 8am to 4pm * must be available on weekends occasionally.

Condition of Employment: Candidates are required to complete a criminal background check, which is an essential condition to work at St-Albert Cheese Co-op. Details will be provided during the application process.
