Inspired Staffing Inc. is recruiting for a Senior Director-level IT leader with 12–15+ years of progressive technology experience to lead technology strategy, cybersecurity and IT operations for an innovative Canadian not-for-profit organization. This full time, remote opportunity is open to candidates based in the Greater Toronto Area.

The ideal candidate will bring strong ITIL expertise, IT and project management leadership, AWS cloud experience and proven people management skills, along with experience supporting or leading initiatives involving artificial intelligence, robotics, advanced manufacturing or other emerging technologies.

What We’re Looking For

● 12–15+ years of progressive IT experience, including senior leadership responsibility.

● Strong ITIL expertise; ITIL certification is highly preferred.

● Strong IT and project management expertise, including complex technology implementations, infrastructure projects, transformation initiatives and cross-functional programs.

● Proven experience leading and developing a small multidisciplinary IT team while managing external vendors and service providers.

● Experience supporting or leading initiatives involving artificial intelligence, robotics, automation, advanced manufacturing or other emerging technologies.

● Strong AWS, CRM and Salesforce experience, with additional exposure to Microsoft 365, Azure,



identity and access management and enterprise technologies.

● Industry expertise within defence, automotive, advanced manufacturing, manufacturing or other security-sensitive environments is highly valued.

● Experience within a not-for-profit organization, innovation hub, scale-up or growth-stage organization is a strong asset.

● CISSP, CISM, AWS, Azure, ITIL or related certifications are considered assets.

● Strong cybersecurity experience across risk, controls, vulnerability management, monitoring and incident response.

● Experience with data governance, systems integration, analytics and business intelligence.

● Experience translating emerging technologies into practical business, operational or organizational outcomes.

● Comfortable wearing multiple hats and operating effectively within a lean, specialized environment.

What You’ll Do

● Develop and execute the organization’s IT strategy, roadmap and technology priorities in direct support of its mission and growth.

● Advise senior leadership on technology, cybersecurity, risk, data and emerging technologies.

● Lead IT operations, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, service management and business systems.

● Drive major technology projects and transformation initiatives that strengthen organizational capability and partner impact.

● Support the evaluation, adoption and practical application of artificial intelligence, robotics, automation and other emerging technologies.

● Oversee AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365, security monitoring and identity management.

● Lead cybersecurity incident response,



business continuity and disaster recovery.

● Oversee data governance, integrations, analytics, Salesforce, AI and automation.

● Manage technology vendors, service providers, procurement and the IT budget.

● Coach and develop a five-person technology team while balancing internal capabilities with external expertise.

● Build a scalable, secure and innovation-ready technology foundation for the organization’s next stage of impact.
