Duties

- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients to support chefs and cooks
- Help with cooking duties under supervision, ensuring meals are prepared efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
- Support food handling procedures by following proper hygiene practices and storage protocols
- Serve meals to guests or staff in a timely and courteous manner during service hours




- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Follow all health and safety regulations to promote a safe working setting for everyone

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or the food industry is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food handling, meal preparation, and basic cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting kitchen staff
