Looking for a self-motivated and responsible person to lead a team in commercial maintenance work. Most shifts start after 4:00 PM, and some weekend work as well. Person will be required to have own vehicle and going to various job sites in the GTA. Most work will be cleaning services knowledge.
The Cleaning Supervisor oversees several project sites and their team of cleaners and cleaning tasks. He/She supervises cleaners to carry out their work. He/She inspects the work area cleaned by cleaners. He/She manages work schedule of cleaners and reallocate work to cover absences.
- Be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Work with other staff and supervise and train a team.
- Manage supplies, labour, repairs, and maintenance in accordance to budget.
- Respond and provide immediate support for after hour emergencies as required.
- Supervise and train janitorial Staff.
- Inspect completed jobs regularly.
- Develop and train cleaners, appraise their performance and make recommendations concerning salary adjustments, promotions, transfer, or terminations and hiring,
and conduct quarterly filling out of evaluation reports.
- Take immediate action with solutions on routine concerns pertaining to accounts. Report to Operations Manager those of serious nature.
- Reallocate work as required because of personnel shortages or specific requirements.
REQUIRED:
- Have a valid Driver's License (G) and positive driving record.
- Must have clean police record check.
- Communicate in English
- Must be legally able to work in Canada or have a Canadian work permit.
- Available to work on weekends.
- Knowledge about Floor Care/strip and wax, floor scrubber, carpet care
- Commercial Services Janitorial Cleaning experience.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
