Responsibilities
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and safety
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely service for all guests
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy service hours
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries or concerns professionally
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash registers
- Experience in serving or hospitality roles that demonstrate guest-focused service and teamwork
