About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced ICSS CSU Superintendent to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of Instrumentation, Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) commissioning and start-up activities on a major industrial project. The successful candidate will play a critical leadership role in ensuring systems are commissioned safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead all ICSS commissioning, start-up, and systems completion activities.
- Manage commissioning teams, subcontractors, and vendor representatives.
- Develop and execute commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
- Coordinate activities between construction, engineering, operations, and commissioning teams.
- Ensure completion of pre-commissioning, functional testing, loop checks, and plant start-up requirements.
- Monitor commissioning progress and provide regular status updates to project leadership.
- Review and resolve technical issues impacting commissioning activities.




- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with project HSE requirements and industry standards.
- Support turnover documentation, system handover, and client acceptance activities.
- Participate in project planning meetings and readiness reviews.

Qualifications

- Degree, diploma, or trade certification in Instrumentation, Electrical, or related discipline.
- Minimum 10+ years of commissioning and start-up experience within industrial projects.
- Extensive knowledge of ICSS, DCS, SIS, PLC, and field instrumentation systems.
- Proven leadership experience supervising commissioning teams.
- Strong understanding of systems completion and turnover processes.
- Experience on LNG, oil & gas, petrochemical, mining, or major industrial construction projects is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
