CASHIER / LISTER

This full time permanent dual position includes two important roles. This dual role requires working in both a retail as well as warehouse setting. In the Cashier role, you will be interacting with customers as they pick up their orders, responding to inquiries, order picking, general warehouse duties such as inspection and light cleaning and providing customer service as needed. As time permits, you will also learn the Lister role, where you will be inspecting and evaluating products for resale,



and then listing the products on our website. These varied responsibilities provide an interesting and exciting way for you to start your career with Maxx.

Candidates must have strong verbal communication skills and the ability to quickly learn new skills. There is also some physical lifting required (up to ~ 15kg). It’s a dynamic environment where there’s always interesting work to do. You won’t be bored!

Maxx offers a 4 day, 41-hour workweek, 8:00am - 6:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and 8:00am - 7:30pm Wednesdays. Off Friday, Saturday and Sunday. $25.445/hr starting wage.

Your Qualifications

· High school diploma. College or University education is a plus.

· Candidates must be positive, reliable, conscientious and team-oriented.

· 1-3 years or more of experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally with some cashier experience.

· Keyboard and typing skills are required. Familiarity with Microsoft and Google applications is also a plus.

· Strong communication skills (oral and written) are required; language is English.

· Candidates must be able to lift small-to-medium sized boxes, up to 15 kg in weight.
