Summary Description

Under general supervision, offer a hospitable welcome to all community members and guests and provide timely and skilled service.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

· Answer incoming calls, assign appointments with the correct allotted time.

· Knowledge of products and services that are offered, as well as prices.

· Process payments for products and service..

· Perform daily opening and closing procedures as required.

· Ensure that the Evergreen Spa is kept neat and tidy.

· Hair cutting, coloring, permanent waving, shampooing, and styling as requested as well as esthetic services qualified to offer.

· Transport laundry for Salon and Spa to laundry room

· Follows all legislative requirements as it pertains to infection prevention and control.

· Reviews and coordinates salon policies and procedures.

· Maintains confidentiality and a level of customer services as required in Origin Active Lifestyle properties.

· Provides reminders and portering of community members as required.





· Accepts and responds appropriately to feedback received from Team Members, family members, guests and community members.

· Makes every effort to work within a budget and to grow revenues annually.

· Follows all Public Health requirements of a salon operation.

· Performs other related duties as directed or approved by the General Manager.

Education and Experience

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance may qualify. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

· Completion of recognized hair styling course. Diploma’s must be on file.

· Completion of Grade 12 and 2 years relevant experience.

· Must have exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent

Pay: $18.18-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

- stylist: 3 years (preferred)
