Job Summary
We are a well-established, Mississauga-based industrial/commercial general contracting/construction company, currently seeking a full-time dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor or Working Supervisor for the Greater Toronto Area. This role will be responsible to oversee construction projects at sites from inception to completion, ensuring that all work is completed as per detailed project scopes, on time and to the highest quality standards. It also requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction processes, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.

Duties

- Plan, organize and control daily site operations
- Read and correctly interpret project plans, drawings, specifications, etc.
- Maintain safe and secure job site
- Oversee and manage subcontractors and laborers at site to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain quality control measures to ensure all work meets specified standards.
- Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders regarding timelines, progress, and any potential changes to scope or challenges that may arise.

Qualifications and Skills

- Minimum 10-15 years experience as a site supervisor (preferably in Commercial/Industrial construction)
- Superior English language skills, written and spoken
- Read blueprints/drawings and lay out work from these drawings
- Understand all aspects of concrete work, structural steel, etc.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead teams effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.




- Knowledge of quality control practices in the construction industry.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Have a good attitude and excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities and computer skills
- Have a G’s driver license, own vehicle and a clean driving abstract.

Asset if you also have the following abilities/skills:

- Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates
- Select trade subcontractors and coordinate
- Prepare and review site reports

Pay will commensurate with experience.

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
