We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Automotive Service Technician with Red Seal certification to join our dynamic team. Duties

- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
- Use schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently
- Conduct welding and assembly tasks as needed to restore or enhance vehicle components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete repairs with precision
- Assist in routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid replacements, and inspections
- Lift heavy components safely during repairs and maintenance procedures
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair needs, timelines,



and maintenance recommendations
- Oversee the lower level apprentice technicians on repair procedures and verify inspections of recommended repairs

Requirements

- Valid Red Seal certification as an Automotive Service Technician or equivalent safety certification
- Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience in automotive repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models
- Proficiency with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic software tools
- Experience with welding, assembly, and the use of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during repair procedures
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures and automotive repair best practices
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and drivers abstract (we can acquire)
