About the Role
Are you passionate about luxury events, customer service, and sales? Do you enjoy creating memorable experiences and guiding clients through some of the most important moments of their lives?
We are looking for a Senior Multi-Property Weddings & Social Events Specialist who will act as a sales and planning expert across several properties within the group. This individual will play a key role in growing wedding and social event revenue while delivering an exceptional guest experience, from the initial inquiry through to the execution of the event.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Development
- Manage incoming inquiries for weddings and social events.
- Conduct site visits and showcase the group’s various properties.
- Prepare customized proposals, quotes, and contracts.
- Follow up on opportunities and close sales.
- Meet and exceed established revenue targets.
- Maximize revenue through upselling strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with wedding planners, partners, and suppliers.
Client Management
- Guide clients throughout the planning process.
- Understand client needs and recommend creative, tailored solutions.
- Coordinate details related to menus, room layouts, room blocks, and special requirements.
- Provide proactive communication and personalized service.
- Manage client expectations and resolve issues professionally.
Multi-Property Coordination
- Represent multiple hotels, restaurants, and event spaces within the group.
- Recommend the property best suited to each client’s needs.
- Ensure the accuracy and compliance of all event documentation, including BEOs/pro formas and floor plans.
- Organize and/or support internal events such as recruitment weekends, Town Halls, Health Week, Halloween, the Employee BBQ, and the Holiday Party.
Leadership & Expertise
- Share best practices in sales and customer experience.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
- Actively contribute to the overall success of the sales team.
Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in wedding, social event, or hospitality sales.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and business development skills, with a results-driven approach.
- Experience in a hospitality or events setting, ideally across multiple properties or brands.
- Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail, autonomy, and rigour.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for hospitality and customer service.
- Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Knowledge of the Montréal wedding and events market and an established network of partners, suppliers,
or planners is an asset.
- Full-time position. Working hours may include evenings, weekends, and other schedules based on operational requirements.
