We are seeking a dynamic and reliable Shop Technician and Material Handler to join our team! In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our workshop operations, ensuring smooth handling of materials, and exact execution of shop tasks. Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will help keep our projects on track and our workspace organized.
Duties
- Load and unload materials using forklift.
- Assist with order picking and shipping & receiving processes to ensure timely delivery of supplies and products
- Perform heavy lifting tasks regularly while adhering to proper safety protocols to prevent injuries
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily operations
- Minimum lifting capability of 50lbs
- Delivering material to job sites - some job sites are out of town, so ability to travel out of town is needed
- Monitoring shop supplies and material
Requirements:
- Clean drivers abstract
- Previous shipping/receiving experience preferred
- PPE: Steel toe boots
- Valid forklift training preferred
- Team player who works well with others
