Adecco is currently hiring an experienced Aerospace Quality Control Inspector for a full-time opportunity in Kanata, ON. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in quality inspection, quality assurance, aerospace manufacturing, precision measurement, blueprint reading, and regulatory compliance.
As an Aerospace Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring materials, components, and finished products meet strict aerospace quality, safety, and performance standards. - As this role is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP) the qualifying applicants must possess Canadian Citizenship or permanent residency status. A work permit status is not eligible for this role
- Pay Rate: $30.75/hour
- Location: Kanata, ON
- Shift: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities:
- Inspect raw materials, components, assemblies, and finished products throughout the manufacturing process.
- Review engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructions to verify product compliance.
- Use precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and inspection equipment.
- Identify and document defects, non-conformances, and quality concerns.
- Maintain accurate quality, inspection, and compliance records.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure products meet aerospace, customer, and regulatory quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing performance.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical training in aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, quality assurance, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, manufacturing inspection, aerospace inspection, or maintenance environments.
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Proficient with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of AS9100, aerospace quality systems, or Transport Canada regulations is considered an asset.
- Ability to perform light material handling, including lifting up to 15 lbs.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada as a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
