Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Toddler Room Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe setting for young children aged one to three years old. Your enthusiasm and expertise will support their developmental milestones, foster curiosity, and promote positive social interactions. Duties

- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development for toddlers
- Foster a warm, welcoming classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration and independence
- Observe and assess each child's progress, maintaining detailed records of developmental milestones and behaviors
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's daily experiences and developmental needs
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and share best practices in early childhood education
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized attention as needed





Requirements

- 2 years of proven experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special educational needs is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage classroom activities, schedules, and documentation efficiently
- Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities while maintaining a nurturing approach
- Valid Level 1 certification in childcare or early childhood education; additional training in special education is a plus
- Ability to obtain a clear police check which includes the vulnerable sector search
- Valid First aid certificate

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
