We are looking for a full-time Operations Manager to join the Emergency Training Centre. This is a vital role that supports daily operations and overall effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversees and manages a diverse portfolio of logistics operations.
- Ensuring compliance with critical certifications and supporting business development initiatives.
- A key focus of this role is to strategically expand business opportunities and revenue streams.
- Implementing and maintaining a robust health and safety system to ensure the well-being of our employees, students, and clients.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, or Emergency Services Management is preferred or equivalent years of experience as a Chief Fire Officer.
- Designation as a Fire Safety Codes Officer is an asset.
- Experience in an union workplace.
- Certification and advanced knowledge of firefighting, technical rescue,



dangerous goods, emergency management, and medical.
- Enhanced working knowledge in oil, gas, rail and chemical industries and related Western Canada energy regulations and directives.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding in emergency service fleet management, asset management, and facility maintenance.
- Enhanced working knowledge in safety codes and standards, government legislation and regulations.
- Progressive knowledge and experience in Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Planner).

Additional Information

This is a Full-time Continuing Administrative appointment on the Vermilion campus commencing November 2, 2026. Lakeland College offers an attractive pension, remuneration, and benefit package. The salary range for this position is $99,079 to $129,757 per year.
