Syncro Security is seeking a professional and reliable Security Guard to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for access control, site patrols, incident reporting, and providing assistance to residents, visitors, and staff.

Starting Date: June 14, 2026
Regular Shifts:
- Wednesday Nights: 11:45 PM – 8:45 AM
- Saturday Nights: 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM
- Sunday Nights: 9:00 PM – 8:45 AM
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular foot patrols of the property
- Monitor and control access to the site
- Verify visitors and maintain access control procedures
- Handle reception and concierge-related duties
- Monitor site activity and identify potential safety or security concerns
- Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with site procedures
- Complete Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports accurately
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and staff
- Maintain a skilled security presence at all times
- Follow company policies, procedures, and site-specific instructions
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid Emergency First Aid and CPR Certification
- WHMIS Certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to write clear and professional reports
- Strong observation skills and sound judgment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Availability to work overnight shifts
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous security experience
- Experience in concierge, reception, or access control environments
- Access to a reliable vehicle
- Residence in or near Vaughan
- Customer service experience
