Red Deer Mitsubishi is looking for a licensed Journeyperson Automotive Technician with a valid Alberta Out of Province Inspection (OPI) licence.
Both are required for this position.
What You’ll Do
As one of our Journeyperson Technicians, you’ll handle a variety of diagnostic, maintenance and repair work, including:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical concerns
- Complete maintenance and repairs accurately and efficiently
- Perform Alberta Out of Province Inspections
- Identify additional required or recommended repairs
- Complete repair orders and documentation properly
- Work closely with Service Advisors and the rest of the shop team
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and safety
- Help keep work moving through the shop
What You Need
This one has two non-negotiables:
You must be a licensed Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician.
You must hold a valid Alberta OPI licence.
We’re also looking for someone who:
- Can diagnose, not just replace parts
- Takes pride in doing the job properly
- Works efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Communicates well with the team
- Is dependable and shows up ready to work
- Understands that a good shop runs on teamwork
