Overview
Greenwoods Dental Centre is looking for an additional Full-Time or Part-Time Registered Dental Assistant or Experienced Chairside Dental Assistant ! The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist. This position requires excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. For a fully Certifed Dental Assistant LMIA support maybe provided depending upon the situation
Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Maxident.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Maintain office cleanliness and organization.
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies.
Requirements
- Certification in Dental Assisting or equivalent training.
- Must be willing to travel for training.
- Must have previous experience in a dental field.
- Familiarity with Maxident software is highly desirable.
- Robust understanding of medical terminology related to dental practices.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and team members.
