Job Summary

Responsibilities

- Wash, scrub, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently and thoroughly.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and handling ingredients safely.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Support the kitchen team by managing waste disposal and recycling processes in accordance with health regulations.
- Keep track of dishwashing supplies and notify management when stock needs replenishing.




- Collaborate with restaurant or hotel staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes for service.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is valued.
- Strong understanding of cleaning procedures, food handling safety, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking support tasks.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards related to food service experience is a plus.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times.

Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour
