Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our agile dental practice 5-6 days a week. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the dental office, assisting the dentist during procedures, and providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.

Duties

- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all instruments are sterilized according to safety protocols.
- Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records using dental software.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.




- Support administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing patient inquiries, and handling billing processes when necessary.
- At least 2+ years of chair side assisting along with working in a fast paced environment

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental software systems, particularly CurveHero, is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Organization skills are a must!
- A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to health regulations.
