Due to strong growth and excellent results, Cloverdale Paint Inc. has an incredible opportunity for a General Help role. The successful candidate will join our team at our Montreal facility.

We looking for the right individual that share the same values we do. These are permanent, full time role. This role will support all aspects of the facility operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supporting production of paint products by following in-depth work instructions
- Utilize several different types of production equipment to fulfill formulation requirements
- Work closely with fellow employees on scheduling and production coordination to optimize throughput
- Perform in-process testing and record keeping of daily operations.
- Daily maintenance of production equipment
- Help maintain a clean, safe work environment

QUALIFICATIONS

- Fluent in French and English, both written and verbal, is required to communicate effectively with customers, carriers, suppliers and colleagues
- Experience working in a production or industrial branch environment is an asset
- Knowledge of industrial and heavy-duty coatings, solvents, spray equipment, pumps and related accessories is an asset




- Dependable and safety-focused, with the ability to organize priorities and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift and maneuver paint containers and related products weighing up to 70 lb., with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and perform repetitive material-handling tasks for extended periods
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, competent in math and numeric comprehension
- Excellent attendance and work record
- Availability for shift work, overtime and flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, as operationally required

*Previous experience with operating production machinery and experience in the paint industry is an asset*
